AI Visibility Check in ChatGPT: audit a website from a chat
AI Visibility Check works inside ChatGPT. Ask it to audit a website and ChatGPT runs the audit on your account, then answers your questions about the result: what’s wrong, what to fix first, and whether AI assistants recommend the business.
Connect it
You need a ChatGPT account and a free AI Visibility Check account (you can create it while connecting).
From ChatGPT’s app directory: search for AI Visibility Check, open it and choose Connect.
Until it’s listed there, add it yourself, if your ChatGPT plan lets you add apps:
- In ChatGPT, open Apps (some plans call it Plugins), choose Add, then Create an app.
- Fill in:

- Confirm, then sign in on our page that opens. A new account starts by agreeing to the terms.
- On the next page, review what ChatGPT may do and choose Allow.
To use it, start a chat, pick AI Visibility Check from the + menu in the message box (or type @AI Visibility Check), and ask.

A quick audit checks the homepage in about a minute and is free. A full audit crawls the whole site, renders it in a real browser, checks outside sources and puts real questions to AI assistants; it takes about seven minutes and uses one full audit from your account, so the app tells ChatGPT to check with you before starting one. If the same site had a full audit in the last day, nothing new starts: you’re shown that report, free, and a new one runs only if you ask again.

What it can access
When you allow the connection, ChatGPT can start audits and read your audits and their results, your email address and your remaining allowance. It cannot buy anything, change your plan or payment details, or delete anything. Answers never include a price or a payment link: buying happens on aivisibilitycheck.io only.
What you ask in ChatGPT, and the results we send back to it, are also processed by OpenAI under its own privacy terms. Our privacy notice covers what we do with your data.
Disconnect
Press Disconnect next to ChatGPT under Connected apps on your account page, or remove the app in ChatGPT’s settings. Its access ends within a minute.

What can ChatGPT see from my account?
Only what the tools return: your email address, your audits and their results, and your remaining allowance. It cannot change your account, your plan or your payment details, and it cannot delete anything.
